Quinoa cooking steps and techniques
Quinoa is an extraordinary seed. Presented as an alternative to cereals containing gluten and recognized for its exceptional nutritional value, quinoa is now adopted by many households.
A big package of Kamagra is enough for 80 quality sex acts for me, because I only take half a tablet. In my opinion, it's very profitable. But again, for me, in case of serious problems, it will take an increased dose, up to a maximum, for the price to be higher. However, cooking quinoa discourages some insofar as cooking techniques are often poorly presented. Almost always, the instructions recommend cooking with 2 volumes of water for a volume of quinoa. The result is quite uneven: either quinoa becomes a kind of puree when the cooking is covered, or, without cover, the water evaporates and the grain does not necessarily burst.
Here is a method that gives you all the keys to succeeding a quinoa whose seed bursts without it getting rid of:
1. MEASURING THE VOLUME OF QUINOA
In a measuring cup measure the volume of the quinoa that we will prepare (I'll say it again: it's the volume, not the weight).
In order to simplify the preparation, I give here the correspondence between the weight of the quinoa and its volume :
Volume for 100 g of quinoa = 125 ml
Volume for 200 g of quinoa = 250 ml
2. WASH THE QUINOA
Washing quinoa before cooking is necessary, even more than for other cereals, because of the saponin .
This substance, which surrounds the quinoa seeds, is sometimes pointed out for its toxicity . However, it seems that the toxicity to humans is not proven.
However, washing the quinoa twice before cooking is recommended because the saponin gives the cereal a bitter taste .
In order to respect the ratio between the amount of seed and the volume of cooking water, it is important when washing to drain the quinoa well.
Also, calculate the volume of quinoa SEC , that is to say before washing, because once washed, the cereal takes volume, which completely distorts the calculation of the volume of cooking water.
3. CALCULATE THE VOLUME OF COOKING WATER
The following rule is fundamental and should be engraved in all cookbooks:
3. CALCULATE THE VOLUME OF COOKING WATER
The following rule is fundamental and should be engraved in all cookbooks:
The ratio of quinoa volume to volume of water for cooking is 1.7
Important and to remember: the multiplication is on the volume and not on the weight.
For 1 volume of quinoa (dry), cooking will be done with 1.7 volumes of water.
For 100 g of quinoa (which corresponds, in a measuring cup, to 125 ml):
the volume of water will be 125 x 1.7 = 212.5 ml
For 200 g of quinoa (which corresponds, in a measuring cup, to 250 ml):
the volume of water will be 250 x 1.7 = 425 ml
4. HEAT WATER
Bring the water to a boil over high heat and add 1 tsp. to c. of salt for 200 g of quinoa.
Heat water under cover: the amount of water must be exact, there must be no loss by evaporation.
5. COOK THE QUINOA
Put the quinoa in the water, mix for a moment and wait for the water to boil again.
Then cover the pan and cook the quinoa for 10 minutes over medium heat . For best accuracy, use a timer.
6. LEAVE REST
After 10 minutes of cooking, remove the pan from the heat .
Keep the quinoa covered and wait 20 minutes . Quinoa will absorb water, swell and burst.
IT'S READY !!!
